  • When does the Rovaniemi–Tromsø bus operate?

    The Eskelinen Lapin Linjat bus operates on the route daily from 12 June to 19 September 2026.

    The daily service departs from Rovaniemi railway station at 11:20 AM and from Rovaniemi bus station at 11:40 AM. From the bus station, the bus usually departs from platform 1.

    The daily service from Tromsø to Rovaniemi departs from Prostneset at 7:00 AM.

  • How long does it take to get to Tromsø by bus?

    The total journey time from Rovaniemi to Tromsø is 8h 10min and from Tromsø to Rovaniemi is 10h 20min. The route runs between Lohiniva–Kittilä–Muonio–Kilpisjärvi–Skibotn–Nordkjosbotn.

  • Where can I see the prices for the Tromsø route?

    The buses have large luggage compartments, and passengers can take large bags and leisure equipment with them without additional charge. Strollers can be transported in the luggage compartment of the bus. Bicycles are transported at the customer’s own risk, if space permits, and a bicycle space is reserved when purchasing a ticket.
